What we collect

Nothing on a server. Study Hub does not have user accounts, a database of students, or any backend that receives your data. We cannot see who uses the site or what they study.

What's stored on your device

To remember your progress between visits, the app saves data in your browser's local storage — a private area of your own browser. That includes:

• the name or nickname you choose (only used to greet you);
• which courses you selected;
• your study progress, quiz results, review schedule, and settings;
• any Google Classroom assignments you choose to import.

This information never leaves your device unless you deliberately export a backup file yourself. You can erase all of it at any time by clearing your browser data, or by restoring an empty backup.

Google Classroom import

If you import assignments, you do it by exporting a calendar file from Google Classroom and choosing that file yourself. The file is read directly in your browser and is never uploaded anywhere. Study Hub does not connect to your Google account and never asks for your Google password.

Cookies and tracking

Study Hub sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and includes no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. There is no profile of you being built anywhere.

Requests the app does make

Like most websites, the page loads a couple of shared resources from public content-delivery networks: the interface library (React) from unpkg.com, and fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Requesting a file from any web server reveals your device's IP address and browser to that server, as a normal part of how the web works. We send no personal data — not your name, progress, or assignments — to these or any other services.

Children

Study Hub is intended for students aged 13 and older. Because the app collects no personal information on any server, there is no student data for us to hold, share, or lose.

Your control

You are always in control of your data because it lives with you: export a backup whenever you like, and delete everything by clearing your browser's storage for this site. Uninstalling is simply closing the tab.
